I keep wondering if either of those two cameras are not on the compatible Mac list then will they work with Mac? I noticed now that there are no HDR-FX1E and DCR TRV 110E listed in the approved list. The results from both cameras are identical. The cables are used when going through Canopus and Elgato are a RDA to the device then 400 FireWire to 800 then adapter to thunderbolt one.
